While we’d love to give you a really cool reason for it – like being exposed to gamma radiation or being bitten by a spider - our origin story is a little less dramatic.In 2012, Mutant launched in Singapore as a PR agency with a vision for growth based on getting real business results for clients - without the agency fluff.Since these humble beginnings, we’ve evolved into a regional agency with offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand & the Philippines - servicing clients across Asia Pacific and globally for their PR, content marketing, branding, and social media needs.So, what does this mean for you?You’re here because you need help with real problems - whether that’s increasing sales, improving employee retention, driving inbound leads, or refreshing your brand to attract investors.These are the results we measure our success on.By making a real impact on your business, you’ll see the value in working with us, and we’ll hopefully kick off an awesome partnership together.The Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Public Relations Manager, based in Singapore, who will be responsible for planning and executing client communications strategies, across Mutant’s PR and Content teams.Apart from contributing to the day-to-day client and project management, with a portfolio of consumer and corporate brands across the B2B and B2C space, you’ll take the lead in proactively managing Mutant’s top consumer and corporate PR clients, proposing communications strategies while executing them flawlessly alongside the team. You’ll also be responsible for managing their accounts profitably, as well as assisting with business development proposals when required.At Mutant, you will have the chance to take real ownership, shape ideas, and see the impact of your work from day one. To thrive here, you need to be proactive, solutions-oriented, resilient, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.What you will be doing:You will own client accounts end to end - driving the full campaign lifecycle from briefing, strategy, and ideation through execution, delegation, performance analysis, and optimisation to ensure alignment with our clients' key business objectives.You will work closely with clients and Mutant’s content & PR teams to create aligned communications across all digital channels and to ensure both strong commercial and consistent brand messages.Project management and strong execution to ensure all PR activities are delivered according to the clients' budget and timelines, achieving established KPIs are your strong suit.You need to keep track and evaluate KPIs according to the scope and recommend necessary adjustments to optimise overall effectiveness based on measurements.You will combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognise media angles and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces, and features across a broad media spectrum.You will lead on brainstorming sessions and ideate workable programs for new business and upsell existing clients.You have established professional relationships and/ or are willing to foster new relationships with clients, colleagues, and the media.What you need to be successful in this role:You have 6+ years of experience in public relations in an agency environment.Candidates with 3-5+ years of experience will be considered for our PR Consultant-Senior Consultant position.You have a track record in managing PR strategies that drive clients’ business.You are able to drive conversations at the C-suite level.You have a solid understanding of the issues and opportunities in the communications industry.You have an excellent command of the English language.You are meticulous and hyper efficient.You have a strong understanding of the local and regional media landscape.You have existing relationships with journalists in Singapore.You have experience contributing to (not just supporting) new business strategy.You are a team player but also confident working independently when required.You have some exposure to mentoring/nurturing junior staff.What you get as a Mutant:Competitive market-based salary.Company's performance bonus structure.Training opportunities (both internal and external).Quarterly wellbeing allowance to support your personal needs.Medical insurance from day one.Flexible hybrid work arrangement (choose your WFO/WFH days).A great working culture (performance centric, with wellbeing at our core)If this sounds like you, you can click on 'Easy Apply' or email your CV/Resume to jobs@mutant.com.sgSuccessful candidates will be asked to complete a task to demonstrate their understanding of communications strategy and media understanding.Due to work pass limitations, we’ll not be able to sponsor work passes.For more information about Mutant, visit our regional website: www.thisismutant.com
