Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a high caliber, highly capable Mandoub / Public Relations Officer (PRO) in to manage and expedite all government and regulatory transactions on behalf of our multiple business entities. This role is central to ensuring uninterrupted legal, immigration, and licensing compliance across all business units. Government & Regulatory Transactions
- Handle end-to-end government transactions with MOI, MOL, MOFA, Ministry of Commerce, Municipality, Kahramaa, and other relevant authorities on behalf of all group entities.
- Process and follow up on trade licenses, commercial registrations, establishment cards, and renewals to ensure zero business interruption.
- Maintain full compliance with Qatari labor law, immigration law, and sponsorship (Kafala) regulations. Visa & Immigration
- Manage the complete spectrum of the visa-related processes, including work visas, family/dependent visas, visit visas, exit permits, NOCs, renewals, cancellations, and transfers.
- Process and expedite visas and accreditations for employees and visitors of any nationality, coordinating with embassies, MOFA, and MOI as required.
- Track expiry dates for QIDs, passports, visas, and health cards for all entities; proactively initiate renewals to avoid penalties or violations. Accreditation & Global Coordination
- Secure and maintain accreditations required for staff and executives operating across multiple jurisdictions and business lines.
- Liaise with international offices, agents, and government counterparts abroad to coordinate accreditation and visa processing for cross-border assignments. Multi-Entity & Administrative Support
- Act as the primary PRO for several group companies simultaneously, prioritizing and multi-tasking across competing deadlines.
- Prepare, translate (Arabic/English), attest, and submit official documents, contracts, and correspondence to government bodies.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with government officers, typing centers, embassies, and clearing agents to speed up processing.
- Maintain an organized tracking system/database of all transactions, statuses, and documents for full transparency to management.
- Provide regular status reports and flag risks or delays proactively to HR and senior management. The ideal candidate is a proactive, goal-oriented multi-tasker with deep, hands-on knowledge of Qatari government systems particularly visa handling across the full range of the end-to-end visa processes, accreditation procedures, and cross-border visa/accreditation processing for personnel of any nationality. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Administration, International or Public Relations, or any related studies.
- Post-graduate / master’s degree in business administrations or a related field (preferred). Certification:
- Certified Compliance Officer / Corporate Governance and Government Affairs. Not required but a major plus. Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Mandoub/PRO in Qatar, ideally supporting multiple companies or a group of entities.
- Proven, current working knowledge of Qatar's government portals (Metrash2, MOI, MOL, MOCI, Hukoomi) and the full 36 visa processes.
- Demonstrated experience handling accreditation and visa processing for diverse, multinational personnel across different countries.
- Track record of managing transactions for multiple entities/business units simultaneously.
- Established, current relationships with government officers, typing centers, embassies, and clearing agents in Qatar.
Technical Skills
- Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English; able to read, write, and translate official documents and correspondence in both languages.
- Hands-on proficiency with Qatar government e-services and portals (Metrash2, Hukoomi, MOI, MOL, MOCI).
- Working knowledge of Qatar Labor Law, immigration regulations, and sponsorship (Kafala) requirements.
- Skilled in preparing, attesting, and submitting official documents, contracts, and NOCs.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and transaction/document tracking systems.
- Valid Qatari driving license, able to drive to government offices across Doha (preferred). Professional Attributes:
