About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated law graduate to join our Chambers for pupillage/chambering. This is an opportunity to receive hands-on training under experienced legal practitioners, build a strong foundation in legal practice, and work toward admission to the Malaysian Bar. Success in this role looks like steady growth in legal research, drafting, and client-facing skills, along with the professionalism and work ethic expected of a future member of the Bar. Pupils will work closely with partners and associates across various practice areas, contributing directly to the firm's caseload while being mentored toward independent legal practice.ResponsibilitiesConduct legal research and prepare case summaries, memoranda, and legal opinions under the supervision of a MasterDraft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, letters, and submissionsLiaise professionally with clients, personnel and other stakeholdersManage and organize files, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of documentationSupport due diligence exercises and compliance-related tasks as requiredContinuously develop legal knowledge and practical skills across relevant areas of lawQualificationsRecognized university degree in Law (LLB or equivalent, recognized by the Malaysian Bar/Legal Profession Qualifying Board)Second Class Upper or First Class Honours, with a minimum CGPA of 3.4Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spokenProficiency in Mandarin is an advantageStrong research, analytical, and drafting skillsGood interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a teamHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detailEligible to be registered as a pupil-in-chambers with the Malaysian Bar
