Job Title: Purchase LeadLocation: Mohali, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced Purchase Lead to oversee and manage the procurementoperations, vendor relationships, and sourcing activities for our organization. The ideal candidatewill have strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to lead cost-effective purchasing strategies.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and purchase order management.Develop and implement purchasing strategies that ensure timely availability of materials at the best possible cost.Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs.Review and analyse purchase requisitions, contracts, and quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance.Track, measure, and report on key procurement metrics such as cost savings, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless materials flow.Resolve supply issues, delays, or shortages by working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably with a strong background in the manufacturing or industrial sector.Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.Excellent knowledge of purchasing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory management.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Candidate Requirements:Candidates should be local to Mohali or nearby areas and preferably have good knowledge of thelocal market.Compensation:Annual CTC: Up to ₹6 LPA
