This role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services to support production and operations. The Purchase Manager will monitor inventory levels, manage purchase orders, and coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality, and finance to align purchasing decisions with business needs. Daily responsibilities also involve tracking vendor performance, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role requires proactive cost management, risk assessment in the supply chain, and continuous improvement of purchasing processes to support overall business efficiency.Qualifications Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain coordination.Proficiency in using ERP or purchasing software, with solid skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, manage costs, and analyze purchasing data for decision-making.Solid understanding of manufacturing or industrial operations, materials planning, and inventory control.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.Ability to work on-site in Hosur, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in a purchase or procurement management role in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly beneficial.
