Purchase Manager Company: Maharishi Ayurveda Products Pvt. Ltd.Location: Noida Special Economic Zone, Phase-II, NoidaKey ResponsibilitiesManage procurement of Ayurvedic herbs, raw materials, extracts, oils, excipients, and active ingredients.Procure primary/secondary packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items.Identify, develop, and manage approved and reliable vendors.Obtain quotations and negotiate price, quality, delivery, MOQ, and payment terms.Prepare, release, and monitor Purchase Orders (POs).Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.Coordinate with Production, PPC, QA/QC, Stores, Finance, R&D, and Engineering.Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality issues, and complaints.Drive cost reduction, price benchmarking, and procurement savings.Maintain optimum inventory and minimize stock-outs and emergency purchases.Ensure procurement compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and company policies.Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, MIS, and procurement reports.Develop alternate sources for critical and high-value materials.Lead, guide, and monitor the Purchase/Procurement team.Support vendor qualification, audits, and periodic vendor evaluation.Ensure continuous improvement in procurement cost, quality, delivery, and efficiency.Qualification & ExperienceGraduate in Pharmacy, Commerce, Management, Supply Chain, or related field.MBA/PGDM in Procurement/Supply Chain/Operations preferred.5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Ayurvedic/Pharma/Herbal Manufacturing.
