This includes identifying and qualifying vendors, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating prices and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with departments such as operations, finance, and logistics to support business needs. The Purchase Manager will track supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and contribute to cost optimization and compliance with company policies.Qualifications Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.Ability to analyze pricing, compare quotations, and make data-driven sourcing decisions.Proficiency with procurement or ERP software and standard office productivity tools.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.Experience in supply chain, procurement, or materials management, preferably in a similar industry.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., in procurement or supply chain) are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
