With strong expertise in detailed design, technical detailing, material selection, and project execution, we deliver projects with a focus on design quality, functionality, precision, and attention to detail.We are looking for an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager to manage procurement for our architecture and interior design projects.We are looking for someone with strong experience in interior material procurement, vendor management, commercial negotiation, costing, and project-based purchasing, along with a good understanding of the Pune market and local vendor network.🔹 Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage the complete purchase and procurement cycle for architecture and interior design projects.Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for interior materials, furniture, fixtures, finishes, and project requirements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and vendors.Demonstrate strong material knowledge across furniture, flooring, laminates, veneers, marble, stone, tiles, lighting, hardware, sanitaryware, fabrics, wallpapers, glass, aluminium, and other interior finishes, with an understanding of quality, specifications, applications, brands, and market pricing.Obtain and compare quotations, prepare Comparative Statements (CS), negotiate rates and commercial terms, and finalize purchases.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, quality, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial value.Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, Project Managers, and Site Teams to understand material requirements and specifications.Ensure procurement is aligned with approved designs, specifications, budgets, quality standards, and project timelines.Monitor purchase orders, material dispatches, deliveries, and pending supplies to ensure timely availability at site.Resolve vendor-related issues concerning quality, quantity, specifications, pricing, and delivery.Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering without compromising design intent or quality.Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, vendor details, rates, invoices, and procurement costs.Develop and maintain a strong vendor database and continuously explore new suppliers and material sources.Coordinate with Accounts and Project Teams regarding billing, payments, and vendor reconciliation.🔹 What We’re Looking ForPune-based candidate preferred, with strong knowledge of the Pune market and local suppliers.Relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement within Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, or Turnkey Projects.Well-versed with current Pune market rates for interior materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, hardware, civil and MEP-related items.Should have an established network of multiple reliable vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors in Pune.Strong understanding of interior materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and project procurement.Excellent negotiation, vendor management, costing, communication, and coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously.Strong understanding of quotations, comparative analysis, purchase orders, and commercial negotiations.Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict project timelines.📍 Location: Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra🏢 Company: Portico DesignsTime: 9:30 am - 6:30 pmDays: Monday to SaturdayIf you are a Pune-based procurement professional with strong material knowledge, an established vendor network, and a good understanding of local market rates, we would love to hear from you.📩 Interested candidates can share their CV at: bdm@porticodesigns.co / 969963 7919Please mention “Purchase Manager – Pune” in the subject line.
