Purchase Manager - FMCG

Job Title – Purchase Manager - FMCGType – ContractWork Location: Sharjah / DubaiKey ResponsibilitiesSource and purchase FMCG products from reliable suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.Negotiate competitive prices, discounts, payment terms, promotions, and other commercial terms.Monitor market prices, competitor pricing, and market trends to ensure competitive wholesale pricing. Manage product availability and stock levels to minimize overstocking and stock-outs.Identify fast-moving and high-demand products based on customer requirements and market trends.Work closely with the Sales and Warehouse teams to plan purchasing requirements and product availability.Monitor product margins and purchasing costs to support overall profitability.Evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, product quality, availability, and delivery.Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records within the ERP system.Prepare regular purchasing reports covering suppliers, purchases, stock levels, pricing, savings, and other procurement-related data.Use Excel for purchasing analysis, reporting, price comparisons, and tracking.

• Ensure timely procurement and availability of products based on business requirements..RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in FMCG purchasing/procurement.Strong experience in sourcing FMCG products from manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.Good understanding of FMCG market trends, pricing, margins, and product movement.Hands-on experience with ERP/procurement systems.Strong MS Excel skills.Good analytical and reporting skills.Strong communication and coordination skills.Ability to work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and other internal teams.Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory.
