Purchase Manager – ConstructionVendor management ,quotation , costing ,negotiation,procurement material CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE FROM PURCHASE - Steel / CementContact Person : Divya from Quotient Consultancy 9137265848 Location: MumbaiExperience: 6–8 YearsIndustry: Construction / Real EstateWe are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager – Construction to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, material sourcing, negotiations, and timely delivery of construction materials.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end procurement for construction materials, equipment, and services.Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules.Coordinate with Project, Site, Engineering, and Accounts teams for procurement requirements.Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing.Monitor purchase orders, material deliveries, and vendor performance.Maintain proper documentation and procurement records.Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites.Handle vendor negotiations and resolve supply-related issues.Ensure procurement is aligned with project budgets and timelines.Requirements:6–8 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement within Construction or Real Estate.Strong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.Good negotiation and vendor management skills.Strong communication and coordination abilities.Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems.Candidates with experience in managing project/site procurement will be preferred.
