Purchasing & Logistics Manager

We are looking for a Purchasing & Logistics Manager with a background in Lighting products.

Responsibilities

Prepare purchase orders to suppliers in line with stock trigger points to maintain MOQ levels.Data entry of received shipments into ERP-based software (Sage) and report any discrepancies to management and the supplier. Source out new product requests from the sales teamNegotiate prices with new and existing local and international vendors.Administer and manage all customers' requests and queries on time.Prepare “month-to-date invoiced” and “open orders” reports for ManagementPrepare a summary of outstanding orders for the factory and follow up.Oversee product modification requests by utilizing the installation team and warehouse staff.Manage and review stock inventory levels, current trends, and forecasts.Manage and lead monthly stock counts and communicate discrepancies with Management.Manage supplier relationships and actively negotiate rates with all logistics freight providers.Arrange air and ocean shipment of products from factory to warehouse or vice versa.Close coordination with the shipping forwarders to ensure that air and ocean shipments arrive on time.Coordinate with the warehouse for the release of items and item preparation for the delivery scheduleReceive customer LPOs and coordinate deliveries with other relevant departments (Sales, Admin, and Accounting). Maintain the driver’s schedule to perform various duties as required or instructed by the Management.Perform other duties relevant to your current job description as assigned by the Management Qualification:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Purchasing fieldExperience in the Lighting Industry is a plusHighly organized, who can prioritize tasks Responsible, logical thinker, and problem solver Able to speak and write Chinese is a plusExcellent English and writing skills Highly proficient in computer or Purchasing software
