JJS is proud of its 89-year tradition of delivering high-quality products and world-class service to clients across the globe and is committed to long-term growth and excellence.Role Description The Purchasing Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Blandon, PA. Key responsibilities for this role:The purchase of supplies, materials, and services for the Purchasing dept. in accordance with purchasing policies and consistent with requester's specifications. Contacting suppliers/vendors to obtain competitive price ids, determine availability, terms, and delivery schedules. Process paperwork and forms, verify receipt f goods and prepare purchase orders.Order and reorder inventory stock items, supplies and materials while working to establish minimums / quantitiesPrepare a variety of CMMS reports for team member and management to track KPI.QualificationsKnowledge of purchasing processes, inventory control and tracking, and purchasing best practices.Experience creating, managing, and reviewing purchase orders.Understanding of procurement workflows and vendor coordination.Effective communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams.Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.Working knowledge of basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and ERP or purchasing systems is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Blandon, PA, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory support in manufacturing or food production environments is preferred.
