Purchasing Executive – Drywall, Ceiling & Partition Materials

Job SummaryEJABI Group- Dubai is seeking an experienced Purchasing Executive to manage sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships for our drywall, ceiling, partition, and building construction materials portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute procurement strategies for drywall, ceiling, and partition materials.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and reliable lead times.Manage the complete purchase order cycle, including RFQs, negotiations, contracts, order placement, and delivery tracking.Monitor and forecast material demand in coordination with sales, projects, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock.Build and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturers and freight and logistics partners for imported materials, including sea and air freight and GCC customs clearance.Ensure procured materials meet applicable quality, safety, and environmental requirements, consistent with company policy and relevant ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management standards.Track market trends, raw material prices and currency fluctuations to advise management on cost impacts.Negotiate annual supply agreements, payment terms, and volume-based discounts with vendors.Prepare and manage procurement budgets, cost analysis reports, and supplier performance evaluations using KPIs such as on-time delivery, quality, and pricing.Coordinate with QA/QC and warehouse teams on incoming material inspections and compliance with project specifications.Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies, trade regulations, and applicable GCC import laws.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in drywall and ceiling systems and related products, including gypsum boards, cement boards, steel studs and tracks, T-grid systems, ceiling tiles, and accessories.Proven experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management with regional and international suppliers.Familiarity with GCC import and export processes, customs procedures, and logistics.Proficiency in ERP or procurement software and MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.A valid UAE driving license is preferred; transferable residency or work visa, as applicable.
