This role includes identifying and qualifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and ensuring on-time delivery of quality products. The Purchasing Manager monitors inventory levels, coordinates with warehouse and sales teams, and maintains accurate purchase records and reports. The role also involves reviewing vendor performance, ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations, and continuously optimizing purchasing processes to support cost efficiency and reliable product availability. Collaboration with finance, operations, and quality assurance teams is expected to support strategic sourcing and budgeting.Qualifications Strong skills in vendor management and negotiation, with experience in sourcing and purchasing preferably within medical devices or healthcare.Proficiency in inventory management, purchase planning, and basic supply chain coordination.Ability to use ERP or purchasing software, spreadsheets, and other documentation tools for order tracking and reporting.Knowledge of procurement best practices, contracts, and basic regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to medical devices.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in purchasing or supply chain are an advantage.Prior experience in a purchasing or supply chain role; experience in the healthcare or medical devices industry is highly desirable.
