Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating prices and contract terms, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring on-time delivery aligned with production schedules. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock replenishment, and collaborating with production, quality, and finance teams to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. The Purchasing Manager will also evaluate supplier performance, maintain accurate purchasing records, ensure compliance with company policies, and support continuous improvement in purchasing processes.Qualifications Strong skills in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.Proficiency in inventory management, demand planning, and purchase order processing using ERP or related systems.Ability to analyze cost structures, compare quotations, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in metalware or related industrial sectors, and familiarity with quality standards.Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent purchases and deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in supply chain or procurement are a plus.Experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within manufacturing or HORECA product categories.
