Purchasing Manager – Pomona, CAOnsite | Full-TimeSalary Range: $100,000–$110,000 annuallySuperior Duct Fabrication is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at our corporate office in Pomona, California.Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the Purchasing Manager will oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, strengthen supplier relationships, and help ensure materials are available to support production, inventory requirements, and customer commitments across our multiple locations.We’re looking for someone who is organized, analytical, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You’ll DoManage day-to-day purchasing of materials, supplies, equipment, and servicesReview material requirements, inventory levels, production needs, and purchasing trendsEnsure purchase orders are accurate and issued on timeMonitor open POs and proactively address shortages, late deliveries, pricing discrepancies, and supplier issuesNegotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, freight, and other commercial termsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliersEvaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, service, responsiveness, and on-time deliveryIdentify alternative suppliers to reduce supply-chain risk and improve competitive pricingPartner with Inventory, Operations, and Production to maintain appropriate material availabilityAnalyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunitiesSupport vendor consolidation and leverage company-wide purchasing volumeTrack purchasing KPIs, supplier performance, and documented cost savingsHelp standardize purchasing processes across company locationsPartner with Accounting to resolve PO, receiving, invoice, and pricing discrepanciesWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain experienceExperience managing suppliers and negotiating pricing and commercial termsStrong understanding of purchasing, inventory management, and material planningExperience working with ERP or inventory management systemsStrong analytical and Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent organization, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-location environmentPreferred ExperienceHVAC, sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction materials, or related industry experienceExperience purchasing raw materials such as sheet metal, coils, hardware, and manufacturing suppliesMulti-facility or multi-branch purchasing experienceStrategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and cost-reduction experienceMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experienceIf you’re a purchasing professional who enjoys negotiating, developing strong supplier partnerships, improving processes, and ensuring operations have the materials they need to succeed, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today to join Superior Duct Fabrication.Superior Duct Fabrication is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to legally protected characteristics.
