I am partnering with a global client within the FMCG industry , they are looking for an experience Purchasing and contracts manager who has experience of working with multi sites / Offices and has been involved in contract and supplier management and has experience of improving processes , management of systems and tasks.Permanent contract3 days a week at offices in WindsorWe are looking for a out and out procurement / contracts / purchasing managerSupply and logistics experience will not be the right experience for this roleExcellent opportunity to be part of an exciting business and industryWorking with high performing teams within a supportive and positive cultureThe Purchasing & Contracts Manager is responsible for purchasing, supplier negotiation, and contract management for Botanica head office and field based operations.• The role ensures commercial value, contractual compliance, and consistency of approach across all purchasing and contractual arrangements, while leading key categories such as property leases, fleet and driving for work, utilities, and company wide servicesPurchasing, Negotiation & Contract Management : • Lead purchasing, negotiation, and contract management for all requirements across head office and field based operations.• Ensure best value commercial outcomes, appropriate supplier selection, and contractual risk mitigation.• Act as the central coordination point for contract management and renewal planning across the whole UK business, ensuring no lapses in coverage or compliance.• Maintain oversight of contract terms, performance, renewal dates, and commercial obligations.Company Wide Purchasing Categories : • Lead purchasing and contract management for company wide requirements, including (but not limited to):UtilitiesWorkwearStationery and office suppliesOther centrally managed servicesProperty• Ensure consistency of approach, cost control, and supplier performance across all categories.People Management: • Line manage 1 direct report (Purchasing Administrator), providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.• Ensure workload is prioritised effectively and aligned to business needs.SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & EXPERIENCE:• Good understanding of the purchasing, supplier negotiation and contract management process.• Confident using purchasing systems and supporting process adherence.• Understanding of Car Fleet process and requirements legally for company drivers• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with suppliers, internal teams, landlords, agents, and legal stakeholders.• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to drive consistency, cost control, and continuous improvement.
