قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe RoleAs a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, and purchase order execution. Working closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance, you will ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies while achieving the best value, quality, and delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate is an experienced procurement professional who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute immediately to supporting plant reliability and business objectives.The DailyProcess purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in a timely and accurate mannerPrepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for auxiliary raw and packaging materials and conduct commercial negotiations with suppliersHandle procurement of production-required auxiliary raw and packaging materials, including order placement, monitoring, and Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV)Source and evaluate new suppliers, including arranging testing samples for evaluation and qualificationMonitor purchase order status and expedite deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production operationsManage supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providersCollaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to understand procurement requirements and timelinesResolve procurement-related issues such as delivery delays, quality concerns, invoice discrepancies, and other assigned tasks independently and resourcefullyMaintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases in accordance with company proceduresThe EssentialsPossess a Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing, petrochemical, chemical, or industrial environmentProven experience in sourcing, supplier management, contract administration, and commercial negotiationsFamiliarity with SAP or other ERP procurement systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive team player with high integrity, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset
