They see shortages before they exist, spot supplier risks before they become emergencies, and keep production running without filling the warehouse with unnecessary stock.That's the project you'd be joining.About WildBranWe make snack bars and energy balls for some of Europe's biggest retailers, and our own brand is out of the gate. Bootstrapped, founder-led, and run on open numbers: the whole team sees the real data, including you, from day one. In 2027 we move into a brand-new factory with 2.5x the capacity.What you'll doSupport the monitoring of raw material and packaging stock levels, helping to track production coverage and identify risks of stock-outs or excess.Track delivery lead times and help validate that they are aligned with the production plan, flagging deviations or critical lead times.Collaborate in gathering supplier proposals and comparing prices, payment terms and MOQs, supporting the negotiation process.Help identify early signs of supply chain disruptions (delays, stock-outs, price changes) and report them to the team.Support the team in resolving supplier issues - non-conformities, partial deliveries, documentation discrepancies.Participate in Planning and Production meetings, contributing up-to-date information on order and supplier status.Support the material phase-in/phase-out process, helping to track the controlled depletion of old stock.Help monitor supplier OTIF and support the preparation of periodic reports and action plans.Contribute to organising and updating the supplier documentation base (technical data sheets, certificates, specifications).Enter and validate purchasing data in the ERP (prices, lead times, terms), under supervision, ensuring data accuracy.Comply with all applicable Food Quality and Safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all daily activities. What you'll learnThe real mechanics of a purchasing function: how stock coverage, supplier negotiation and production planning fit together, and how they show up on the factory floor. You’ll get hands-on with ERP systems, supplier documentation and OTIF tracking - the kind of experience that opens doors in Supply Chain.Who does well herePeople who like numbers and chase down the ones that don’t add up. Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable picking up the phone to a supplier. You don’t need purchasing experience - just a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics or a related field, solid Excel skills, and fluent Portuguese with working English.The deal6-month IEFP professional internship in Póvoa de Santa Iria.
