In this role, you will contribute to backend applications, APIs, automation workflows, and software solutions that support business and product needs.This position is intended for candidates with 0–2 years of hands-on Python development experience, including experience gained through coursework, internships, academic or personal projects, or professional work.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and services.Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.Collaborate with software engineers, frontend developers, data engineers, QA, and product teams.Troubleshoot application issues and assist with application performance improvements.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.Assist with deployment pipelines and development or DevOps workflows as needed.Follow established software development, testing, version control, and documentation practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.0–2 years of hands-on Python development experience through coursework, internships, projects, or professional experience.Working knowledge of Python and familiarity with at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL or MySQL.Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to code quality and detail.Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.Exposure to message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Familiarity with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Redis.Experience with unit testing frameworks such as PyTest.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile software development practices.Compensation & BenefitsAnnual Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000This is the good-faith base salary range for this position at the time of posting.
