The platform spots market-moving events early, so clients from hedge funds to household-name brands can act before the news is widely reported.It's a team of about 20 with a flat structure, and you'll sit with the co-founder three days a week. The work is backend through and through: Python, Postgres and data pipelines, with LLMs built into the product. You'll also have the backing to lead how the whole business uses AI.What They're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)Python: six months to two years of commercial backend experience, internships includedAPIs: designing, building and consuming themPostgreSQL: relational data modelling and SQLLLM APIs: you've built with Claude, OpenAI or similar, at work or on your own projectsAI coding tools: Claude Code, Cursor or similar, part of how you have always built softwareYou bring ideas on tooling and process, and you push for themYou're keen to learn and open to feedback from senior engineersWhat You'll Work WithAmazon Web Services (AWS)Claude APIData pipelines: fetching external data and building tablesReact, alongside the full-stack engineersNice to HavesTrading, pricing or market dataFinancial data feedsLLM features in productionWhy Join / ProjectsYour first project is connecting the platform directly to client systems through APIs, starting with algorithmic trading firms and hedge funds.
