Python Developer | Trading House | Up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid (London)A Python Developer is required by a leading trading institution and its' Risk team.Due to the rise in Agentic AI, this means this role can also now completely transform how engineers work and actually provide new tooling within the business. So rather than waiting for the business to provide recommendations, engineers are now expected to also provide changes. It is a very interesting role with lots of opportunity to grow within a stakeholder-driven environment.You’ll be working in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment, building scalable tools to support traders and risk analysts offering you the chance to shape the system architecture and tech stack from the ground up.Key Responsibilities:Development using Python (backend), utilising the likes of Pandas, Numpy, Polars and Flask/FastAPIBuilding out a platform for the Risk DivisionExperience on data side with something like Databricks or Snowflake is a plusWorking closely with Front Office and Risk to gather requirements and deliver robust solutionsHelping centralise data for improved reporting and visualisationCollaborating with stakeholders across trading desksTech Stack & Experience Required:Strong Python skills in a trading environmentExperience with NumPy, Pandas, PolarsExposure to AWS for cloud deployment is a big bonusExcellent communication skills – must be confident working closely with stakeholdersOffer:Up to £140,000 base salary + discretionary bonus, with potential to exceed based on performance25 days holiday + medical insuranceHybrid working: 3 days in-office, 2 days remoteIf you’re interested in this Python role, please send your latest CV to tomasz@virtuetech.io or apply on this job.Python Developer | Trading House | Up to £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid (London)
