The ideal candidate has strong Python programming skills, hands-on experience with Django and REST APIs, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django.Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.Design efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.Integrate third-party APIs and external services.Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.Follow software development best practices, security standards, and CI/CD processes.Required Skills1–5 years of professional software development experience.Strong proficiency in Python.Hands-on experience with Django or Django REST Framework.Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API integrations.Experience with SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with FastAPI or Flask.Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Redis, Celery, or message queues.Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.Basic understanding of application security and authentication such as OAuth2/JWT.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
