Our clients are Greek companies. Requirements, documentation, support cases, workshops, client calls, and most internal technical discussion happen in Greek. SBuild software that runs real businessesNeurons Tech is an official Odoo Partner helping Greek companies modernize the way they operate. We design, build and support business-critical systems used every day across sales, inventory, accounting, e-commerce, field service, real estate and operations. The work goes well beyond configuring ERP software — it is systems engineering against real operational constraints, with consequences you can see in a client's warehouse the same week you ship.We are looking for a Python developer who wants to move beyond generic web development into complex systems with real operational impact. Why Django experience matters hereYou do not need Odoo experience. What matters is Python fundamentals and hands-on work with an ORM — and Django experience is the strongest single signal for this role.If you have built models, migrations, business logic, permissions and admin workflows in Django, you already think the way Odoo works: declarative data models, inheritance, ORM-driven business rules, and a framework that owns most of the plumbing. That mental model ports across in weeks rather than months. SQLAlchemy in a comparable modelling role is the closest equivalent. We provide structured onboarding and paid official Odoo certifications. The roleYou will:Build and maintain custom Odoo modules in Python.Extend data models, workflows, business rules and system functionality.Develop APIs, webhooks and integrations with external platforms, payment providers, devices and third-party services.Work with PostgreSQL, ORM models and complex relational data.Build migration, transformation and validation tools.Debug production issues and implement long-term fixes.Support deployments, upgrades and module migrations.Write tests, technical documentation and deployment notes.Contribute to code reviews, reusable components and engineering standards. You will work on systems from solution design through go-live, and keep improving them as our clients' businesses evolve. Ownership here is continuous, not ticket-shaped.What we are looking forRequired1–4 years of professional Python development.Hands-on experience with Django ORM, or SQLAlchemy in a comparable data-modelling role.Solid relational data modelling and SQL — PostgreSQL preferred.REST APIs, webhooks or system integrations built and shipped in production.Confidence reading, debugging and improving codebases you did not write.A structured approach to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.Git and collaborative development workflows.Genuine interest in business processes and operational software.Fluent professional Greek and professional working English.Nice to haveOdoo or another ERP platform.Docker, Linux or CI/CD.MQTT, IoT or device integrations.ETL, data migrations or large operational datasets.Inventory, accounting, retail or e-commerce domain knowledge. How we workYour first six months are guided. You will work closely with our founder and Solutions Architect: daily pair programming, code review on everything you write, and structured module development against real client work. This is deliberate. ERP is a domain, not a framework, and it is learned by working next to someone who already carries it. If you want full autonomy from day one, this role will frustrate you — and we would rather you know that now.We work AI-assisted by default. Claude Code and similar tools are part of the daily workflow, not an experiment on the side. We expect you to use them fluently, review what they produce, and recognise the point where they stop being reliable.Small team, direct line. You will sit next to the person making the architectural decisions, see the client conversation that produced the requirement, and have real influence over how we build. What we offerWork that directly changes how real businesses operate.Technical ownership across the full ERP lifecycle — development, integrations, production problem-solving.Direct daily collaboration with the founder and Solutions Architect.Influence over our engineering standards, tooling and technical practice.Structured Odoo onboarding and paid official Odoo certifications.Hybrid working.Transparent quarterly feedback against explicit, written criteria.Compensation: €1,100–1,500 net monthly, depending on experience, with a defined progression path reviewed at 6 and 12 months against criteria agreed in writing at hiring.
