Following a recent funding round, they are expanding their engineering team to support rapid growth.They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their Internal Tools team, responsible for building the systems that support deployment, operation, and scaling of their flagship AI product. This includes developing internal web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure that enable efficient product delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with product and engineering leads on feature designBuild and maintain internal tools, services, and automation workflowsDevelop production-ready web applications and APIsWork in an Agile environment to estimate and deliver featuresSupport and mentor junior engineers when requiredRequirements4+ years’ experience in software developmentStrong Python development with clean coding practicesExperience building and deploying backend web applicationsDocker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)SQL and database designLinux and Bash scripting for automationGit/GitHub version control workflowsDesirableExperience with Streamlit or similar Python frameworksKnowledge of Rust, C, or C++Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript (They used React)Understanding of networking and web architectureExperience with SaaS platforms or IoT environmentsThis role can be hybrid in London or remote first paying £60-£85k Depending on experience .
