Our Dubai office runs the production and quality backbone behind that work. We're hiring a QA & Training Lead to own quality and technical competence across our Data Extraction & Operations (DEO) team of ~50 technicians working across two shifts and two platforms. This is not a queue-management or delivery role — it is a knowledge, training, and quality role. Your mission is to turn a large production team into building-systems experts who QA their own and each other's work, so quality is built into every deliverable rather than caught by a single reviewer at the end. You'll work in close daily contact with our US site team, joining calls at the start of the US East Coast business day to align priorities and set the tone for the next production cycle. What you'll ownBuilding-systems knowledge. Maintain the authoritative reference and train the team across HVAC, Electrical, Gas, Water & Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Roof — including component identification, nameplate/asset data capture, survey-value calculations (tonnage, amperage, service sizes), and equipment-age decoding.Platform mastery. Be fluent in both of our platforms (Firebase and Supabase), know which is used for which client and deliverable, and teach technicians to move between them without confusion.Training program. Design and run onboarding and ongoing training for ~50 technicians across day and night shifts — modular curriculum, worked examples, competency checks, and weekly micro-training on the current top error trend.Certification. Assess and certify technicians to self-QA and then to peer-QA, building a distributed QA model that removes the single-gatekeeper bottleneck.Quality standards. Own the data-tech checklists and the accuracy bar; keep SOPs current across reporting, VR tagging, site surveys, and AI asset-extraction review.Metrics & continuous improvement. Track first-pass QA rates, rework rates, and error type by system; report trends and convert the top recurring error into targeted training.Error catalog. Maintain a living list of common mistakes and their fixes, and feed them back into the curriculum. What you'll bringStrong working knowledge of commercial building systems — MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, refrigeration — ideally from a BIM, MEP, facilities, surveying, or building-services background.Experience in a QA, quality, or technical-training capacity, with a demonstrated ability to teach and raise the standard of a team rather than just check work.Comfort with data platforms and digital survey/QA tools; able to learn client-specific tagging standards, naming conventions, and asset-extraction QA quickly.Sharp attention to detail — you catch misidentified assets, wrong calculations, naming inconsistencies, and typos, and you can explain why they're wrong so they stop recurring.Excellent spoken and written English and confident communication with a US-based team.Ability to build structure — SOPs, checklists, training modules — and hold a team to it consistently.Nice to havePrior exposure to US commercial retail survey/facilities work.Familiarity with Matterport, VR tagging workflows, or AI-assisted data extraction review.Experience certifying or calibrating reviewers across a distributed team.Working hours & conditionsOn-site, Dubai. Six-day working week (Monday–Saturday), with Sunday as the weekly rest day.Daily overlap with the US East Coast team is a core requirement of this role. The shift is structured so you're available for the start of the US business day — approximately 5:00–7:00 PM Gulf Standard Time (shifting one hour with US daylight saving) — to lead handoff calls and set priorities for the next cycle.CompensationAED 15,000–18,000 per month (gross), depending on experience, structured in line with company banding.Statutory benefits and end-of-service entitlements per UAE law and company policy.
