Job - QA Analyst – EFMS Technical UpgradeJob Type- Full TimeLocation - Dubai, UAERole SummaryWe are looking for a QA professional with a strong understanding of EFMS business rules, SQL queries, and digital banking transaction flows to support the EFMS Technical Upgrade. The role involves validating business rule implementation, verifying system alerts, executing digital transaction scenarios, and ensuring that the configured logic works as expected.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and validate EFMS business rules and rule logic.Perform business rule verification against functional requirements and expected outcomes.Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and rule outcomes.Validate digital transaction initiation journeys across relevant digital channels.Understand the underlying logic of configured rules and identify deviations in system behaviour.Validate EFMS alerts, including trigger conditions, alert generation, and expected outcomes.Perform positive, negative, boundary, and rule-based testing scenarios.Analyse test results and identify discrepancies between expected and actual behaviour.Support regression testing to ensure that the technical upgrade does not impact existing EFMS functionality.Collaborate with IT, Business, and development teams to investigate and resolve identified issues.Document test scenarios, observations, defects, and validation results.Required Technical SkillsStrong understanding of SQL and database validation.Ability to create and execute SQL queries for data verification.Understanding of business rule engines / rule-based validation.Ability to interpret and validate complex business logic.Experience in digital banking transaction testing.Strong understanding of functional and regression testing.Ability to analyse system alerts and validate alert-triggering conditions.Preferred ExperienceExperience in the banking or financial services domain.Experience with digital banking applications such as Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.Experience in EFMS or financial/electronic fraud monitoring systems is preferred.Experience working on technical upgrades, rule validation, and regression testing.Key CompetenciesAnalytical and logical thinkingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of business and technical requirementsAttention to detailAbility to analyse complex rule conditionsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams
