QA Engineer – Defense Company, Northern Israel

A defense company in northern Israel is looking for a QA Engineer to join a team responsible for testing complex, multidisciplinary systems.The role includes planning and executing end-to-end system tests, analyzing requirements, writing test documentation, performing tests in system labs, analyzing results, reporting defects, and verifying bug fixes.The position also includes participation in lab integration processes, working with multiple interfaces, and taking part in tests at external sites according to project needs.

Requirements

High school diploma and completion of a software testing / QA course – mandatoryExperience in system-level testing or operating complex systems – mandatoryStrong analytical thinking and ability to investigate system issuesExperience writing test documentation and analyzing requirementsExperience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TFS, or similarFamiliarity with communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS422, SNMP, WebSocket, or REST APIExperience with military, operational, C4I, or multidisciplinary systems – significant advantagePractical Engineer / Engineer background or ISTQB certification – advantage
