We're looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to help establish our manual testing, automation, and release validation practices.You'll work closely with a the engineering team shipping rapidly and serving live customer traffic. This role suits someone who takes ownership, understands customer impact, and enjoys building testing practices in a growing product team.What you'll doOwn release testing: run smoke and regression checks, validate critical customer flows, and communicate release readiness.Build and maintain test cases, regression checklists, and reusable test data.Perform exploratory testing across the product, covering edge cases, permissions, integrations, and failure scenarios.Write and maintain automated UI and API tests, prioritising critical flows and recurring bugs.Report bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence; work with engineers to verify fixes.Integrate automated checks into CI/CD and keep the test suite reliable as the product evolves.What we're looking for1-3 years of QA experience, including manual testing and hands-on automation.Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.Experience testing web applications and APIs using browser developer tools and Postman or similar tools.Ability to write and debug tests in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Golang.Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or pytest.Basic SQL and Git skills, with an ability to investigate issues using logs and network requests.Clear communication, attention to detail, and good judgement about what to test first.You'll fit well if:You spot problems and act without waiting for a ticket.
