QA Engineer (SaaS Platform)

Our satisfied clients include corporations, government agencies, schools, retail stores, hotels and many more.Role OverviewWe are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform.In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, API testing, defect management, and supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).You will work closely with Senior QA Engineers, Software Developers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to identify issues, improve test coverage, and ensure high-quality software releases.Key ResponsibilitiesManual & Automation TestingDesign, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web-based applicationsDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworksPerform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testingIdentify opportunities to improve test automation coverage and testing efficiencyInvestigate test failures and collaborate with developers to resolve issuesAPI TestingPerform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate functionality, reliability, and system integrationsVerify API responses, authentication, error handling, and data accuracyDevelop and maintain API test collections and document testing resultsIdentify, report, and track API-related defectsSIT/UAT & Defect ManagementSupport System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure applications meet business and functional requirementsPrepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and relevant testing documentationIdentify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the software development lifecycleCollaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate issues and verify resolutionsConduct regression testing to ensure fixes do not impact existing functionalityAgile Collaboration & Quality ImprovementParticipate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectivesWork closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Senior QA Engineers to review requirements and acceptance criteriaIdentify potential quality risks and edge cases early in the development lifecycle, supporting a Shift-Left testing approachProvide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and release readinessContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and automation practicesRequirementsAPI Testing: Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools, including validating API responses, authentication, and error handlingTest Automation: Practical experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation frameworksSIT/UAT & Defect Management: Experience supporting SIT/UAT, managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, covering both manual and automated testingGood understanding of software testing methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)Ability to develop and execute test cases independently, investigate defects, and document findings clearlyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced development environmentWhy Join usOpportunities to work on regional projects with global brandsExposure to multinational clients, cross-border teams, and cutting-edge technologyExposure to solutions that include immersive video walls, hybrid meeting tech, collaboration tech, digital transformation, smart workspace integration and much moreTeam-oriented culture that encourages collaboration and continuous learningInvolved in custom projects for high-profile clients, DVI offers opportunities to expand your portfolio and build a specialized skill setA booming industry with the rise of hybrid workspaces and smart office solutions
