QA Lead

Job Title: QA Lead Role PurposeLead software quality assurance activities to ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality applications across lending, payments, integrations, and operational platforms. The role oversees testing strategy, automation, release quality, defect management, and QA governance across the software lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end QA activities for web, mobile, API, and backend systems. Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, test cases, and release validation processes. Manage functional, integration, regression, UAT, performance, and automation testing. Ensure quality across lending workflows, payments, integrations, Ops Portal, and financial systems. Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and API testing practices. Work closely with developers, business, product, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure quality delivery. Track defects, root causes, testing metrics, and release readiness. Support CI/CD pipelines and quality gates for automated deployments. Mentor QA engineers and enforce testing standards, documentation, and best practices. Support production validation, incident analysis, and post-release quality assurance. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. 4–6+ years of QA/testing experience, including team leadership. Strong experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile, APIs, and backend systems. Experience with test automation tools, API testing, performance testing, and defect management tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and Git workflows. Experience in fintech, lending, payments, or transaction-heavy systems is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred KnowledgeAPI testing, automation frameworks, SQL validation, and performance testing. Loan lifecycle, payment workflows, reconciliation, and financial systems. Experience validating integrations and microservices-based platforms. Familiarity with regulated or fintech environments is a plus.
