Employment Type: Full-timeDeployment: Site Based (Abu Dhabi)Role OverviewOur client, an EPC contractor working on an ADNOC onshore project, is seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer – Civil to support quality assurance and quality control activities for civil works at the project site.The role will monitor civil construction quality and support compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and applicable ADNOC standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and coordinate QA/QC activities related to civil works.Monitor civil construction activities for compliance with approved project requirements and specifications.Review and coordinate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection requests, test reports and quality documentation.Coordinate inspections with construction teams, subcontractors and relevant project stakeholders.Monitor civil works including concrete, reinforcement, earthworks, foundations and structural activities.Support material inspections and verification of relevant test results and documentation.Identify non-conformances and support implementation and close-out of corrective actions.Coordinate RFIs, NCRs and other project quality records as required.Support implementation of project quality procedures and inspection requirements.Coordinate with engineering, construction and project quality teams.Participate in quality meetings, inspections and audits where required.Support project completion, handover and final quality dossier documentation.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.Minimum 8 years of dedicated QA/QC experience within the civil discipline.Experience within Oil & Gas, EPC or major industrial construction projects.Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory.ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of civil construction inspection and quality control activities.Experience with ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, material inspections, test reports and quality documentation.Familiarity with relevant civil standards such as ACI, ASTM, BS and ISO is advantageous.Ability to coordinate effectively with construction teams, subcontractors, engineers and client representatives.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of dedicated civil QA/QC experience, preferably within Oil & Gas EPC projects, together with previous ADNOC project exposure and strong site-based inspection and quality coordination experience.
