QA/QC Engineer

From blueprint to final build, you will engage in every stage of the development journey, transforming ambition into architecture and concepts into reality.As a QA/QC Engineer will support quality assurance and quality control activities on high-rise tower construction projects, working within the Supervision team to monitor contractor compliance with project specifications, UAE codes, and international standards from foundation through to handover.

Responsibilities

Implement and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) at site level in line with ISO 9001 and consultant requirementsReview contractor Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals for complianceConduct daily quality inspections and surveillance across construction stages (substructure, superstructure, façade, MEP, finishing)Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to closureWitness and verify material testing, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and relevant authority codesAttend and support quality review meetings with contractors and client representativesMaintain quality records, inspection registers, and test certificatesCarry out concrete pour checks, rebar inspections, and structural quality checkpoints critical to high-rise buildsCoordinate with third-party testing laboratories for sampling and test resultsSupport snagging, de-snagging, and DLP (Defects Liability Period) quality processesEnsure site activities comply with Trakhees/DM/DCD and other applicable UAE regulatory requirementsReport quality status and issues to the QA/QC Manager

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experienceExperience working within a consultancy or supervision firm (not solely contractor-side)Demonstrated experience on high-rise tower construction projects in the UAE (mandatory)Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards and UAE construction codesFamiliarity with quality documentation systems (Aconex, ACC, or similar)
