QA/QC Engineer

About ACSCACSC is a Saudi construction company delivering residential, commercial, and multi-storey building projects. We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our Projects Department in Riyadh.Job PurposeThe QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, Saudi Building Code requirements, and ACSC quality standards.The role will oversee site inspections, material approvals, testing, non-conformance management, quality reporting, and coordination with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams to reduce rework and improve project delivery quality.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality ManagementImplement ACSC's Quality Management System across assigned projectsPrepare, update, and monitor the Project Quality PlanPrepare and review Method Statements in coordination with project and technical teamsPrepare, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, and applicable Saudi Building Code requirementsMonitor quality performance and submit regular reports to the Project Department ManagerSite Inspections and Quality ControlConduct daily inspections and quality walkthroughs across assigned project sitesVerify that executed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, approved material submittals, and workmanship standardsRaise, track, and follow up Inspection RequestsAttend inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholdersMonitor field and laboratory test resultsEnsure materials are approved before use on siteInspect structural, architectural, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP-related worksNon-Conformance and Corrective ActionsIssue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for non-compliant works or materialsFollow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)Coordinate with site and subcontractor teams to close observations within approved timelinesIdentify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive measuresRequest rework or corrective action for works that fail to meet approved requirementsDocumentation and ReportingPrepare weekly and monthly quality reportsMaintain inspection records, quality logs, material approvals, test reports, technical submittals, and NCR registersTrack inspection outcomes, consultant comments, and corrective-action closuresPrepare quality KPI reports and management summariesCoordinationCoordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Technical Office, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and approved laboratoriesEnsure subcontractors comply with ACSC quality procedures and project requirementsSupport project teams in resolving quality issues before they affect project cost, programme, or handoverRequirementsQualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectureMinimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in construction projectsProven experience in villas, residential compounds, multi-storey residential buildings, or similar projectsStrong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and relevant construction standardsPractical experience in concrete, blockwork, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP inspectionsExperience dealing with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and testing laboratoriesISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferredISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is an added advantageTechnical SkillsStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specificationsExperience preparing and reviewing ITPs and Method StatementsPractical experience in NCR and CAPA managementKnowledge of inspection procedures for structural, architectural, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP worksAbility to review material submittals, test reports, and technical approvalsProficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCADStrong working knowledge of Excel for quality reports and tracking logsKnowledge of material approval procedures, laboratory testing, and consultant
