QA/QC Engineer – MEP

Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and inspection checklists for MEP works.Review approved IFC/shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and project specifications.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure proper workmanship and compliance with approved requirements.Coordinate and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs/IRs) and other quality documentation.Inspect and verify incoming MEP materials and equipment against approved material submittals.Identify defects, non-conformities and workmanship issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.Prepare, issue and close NCRs, observations and corrective/preventive action reports.Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants and clients on quality-related matters.Maintain complete QA/QC records, inspection reports, test reports and quality documentation.Participate in consultant/client inspections, quality meetings and site audits.Monitor and coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, de-snagging and final handover activities.Ensure proper preparation and submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test certificates and handover documentation.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved method statements, ITPs, RAMS, project specifications and applicable standards.
