As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor Project Quality Plans, procedures, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activitiesDevelop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures, guidelines, forms, data collection tools, reporting systems, and checklists to enhance performance and ensure compliancePlan, execute, and participate in internal and external quality audits, including supplier audits, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actionsMonitor and assess project risks throughout the lifecycle, proactively addressing potential issues to prevent scope and quality deviationsSupervise on-site and off-site construction activities, including mock-ups, samples, and manufacturing processes (FAT/SAT)Lead change management initiatives for product quality improvements, ensuring effective implementation of new standards and processesProvide day-to-day support and guidance to project management teams and contractors on quality requirements and QMS implementationLead regular quality surveillance and coordination meetings to drive continuous improvementMonitor and oversee contractors’ QMS implementation during project executionConduct inspections and testing of construction activities, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, structural works, masonry, and finishingReview and verify material test reports, mix designs, and calibration certificatesEnsure all materials delivered to the site comply with approved material submittals and relevant standardsCoordinate with clients and consultants on inspection requests and quality-related mattersMaintain and update quality control records, including inspection reports, test results, Site Observation Reports (SORs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)Manage NCRs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions using methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean principlesEnsure construction practices comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statementsAssist in the review and approval of QA/QC documentationEnsure all activities comply with safety and environmental requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process optimizationAnalyze quality data to identify systemic issues and report on KPIs, PQIs, and dashboardsLead site walkthroughs, raise punch list items, and review handover documentation packagesPrepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Quality Manager, Program Director, and Client representativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringCertification in ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 19011:2018 (Audit Management)Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred)Minimum of 10 years of relevant experienceProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsStrong documentation and organizational skillsExcellent communication and coordination abilitiesExperience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)Expertise in non-conformance reporting and implementing corrective actionsKnowledge of construction materials testing methodsAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to make sound and timely quality-related decisionsCollaborative approach to working with project teams and stakeholders
