AMAQ Interiors is hiring a QA/QC MEP inspector for FITOUT projects only. DO NOT APPLY if you can not join within 5 days.DO NOT APPLY if you do not have MEP QAQC 5 years experience.Role Description / ResponsibilitiesResponsible for complete QA/QC inspection and documentation for all MEP works including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire alarm, firefighting and associated ELV interfaces.Prepare, maintain and close all MEP QA/QC documentation in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, consultant requirements and applicable codes.Prepare and submit Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Material Approval Requests(MARs), Drawings Approval Requests (DAR) and maintain the MIR log and all the other logs. Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIRs/IRs) and coordinate inspections with the consultant/client.Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all MEP activities.Prepare Method Statements, inspection checklists and QA/QC forms for MEP activities.Maintain complete QA/QC registers and trackers including WIR, MIR, NCR, RFI, material approval and testing/commissioning logs.Conduct daily site inspections to ensure MEP installation complies with approved shop drawings, specifications, approved materials and method statements.Identify defective/non-compliant work and issue or coordinate NCRs, observations and corrective-action reports.Follow up NCRs and consultant comments until 100% closure.Coordinate with MEP engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to rectify quality issues before consultant inspection.Verify that only approved materials are delivered and installed on site and check material certificates, datasheets, test certificates and approvals.Inspect HVAC works including ductwork, insulation, chilled water/refrigerant piping, FCUs/AHUs, diffusers, dampers and equipment installation.Inspect electrical works including containment, conduits, cable trays, wiring, DBs, panels, lighting, power, earthing and associated systems.Inspect plumbing and drainage works including water supply, drainage piping, pressure testing, slopes, supports, insulation and fixtures.Inspect firefighting and fire alarm installations and coordinate required inspections and testing.Ensure proper MEP coordination above ceilings and within walls before closing ceilings, partitions or access panels, particularly important on high-end fit-out projects.Verify MEP interfaces with architectural finishes, joinery, ceilings, lighting, specialist systems and FF&E to prevent damage and rework.Witness and document pressure tests, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, duct leakage tests, flushing, testing & balancing and other required MEP tests.Coordinate and maintain complete Testing & Commissioning (T&C) documentation, test sheets and certificates.Monitor calibration certificates for testing instruments and ensure only calibrated equipment is used.Carry out pre-inspections before raising inspections to the consultant to minimize rejection rates.Monitor workmanship quality and ensure installations meet the required high-end fit-out finish standards.Prepare snag/punch lists, coordinate rectification and obtain consultant/client closure.Review and verify MEP as-built drawings against actual site installations.Compile MEP sections of the O&M manuals, warranties, certificates, testing reports and handover documentation.Prepare and maintain the complete MEP QA/QC dossier / handover file for final project closeout.Attend QA/QC, MEP coordination and consultant meetings as required.Provide daily/weekly quality reports and highlight outstanding inspections, NCRs, approvals and quality risks to the Project Manager/QAQC Manager.Maintain properly organized electronic and hard-copy records so that every installed MEP activity is traceable from material approval through inspection, testing and final handover.
