Employment visa, Medical Insurance, Annual Flight Tickets, Annual leavesExperience: 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the construction industry, including significant experience in a senior leadership positionJob Overview:One of client is looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead and manage the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) across corporate departments and project sites.The role will act as the Management Representative for the QMS, ensuring compliance with company procedures, ISO standards, contractual requirements, and applicable industry regulations. The position will also coordinate quality audits, inspections, testing activities, and quality improvement initiatives across the organization.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, QMS, ISO standards, construction quality management, and HSE coordination. Experience working closely with HSE, project management, clients, consultants, and subcontractors will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Company's Management Representative for the Quality Management System (QMS).Lead the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Company's QMS.Ensure all departments and project sites comply with established QMS procedures, quality standards, and company policies.Ensure the quality of work meets or exceeds contractual requirements, project specifications, and applicable industry standards.Review and ensure all construction materials comply with approved specifications and contractual requirements.Coordinate, schedule, and supervise QA/QC inspections, testing activities, and field quality control operations.Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits across the Company and project sites.Monitor audit findings, non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.Provide technical and administrative direction on QA/QC matters and quality-related decisions.Coordinate with project QA/QC teams, HSE teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality and compliance matters.Support the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs in coordination with the relevant HSE teams.Review project quality documentation to ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and company requirements.Monitor the effective implementation of quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and related procedures.Identify quality risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance across projects and departments.Prepare and review quality reports, audit reports, performance indicators, and management review inputs.Ensure appropriate quality records and documentation are maintained and controlled.Stop or recommend suspension of defective or non-compliant work where work does not meet approved contract documents, specifications, or quality standards.Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to departments or project teams where required.Ensure corrective actions arising from NCRs, audits, inspections, and client/consultant observations are properly implemented and closed.Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical support to QA/QC engineers, inspectors, coordinators, and other quality personnel.Maintain confidentiality of company, project, contractual, technical, and commercially sensitive information.Perform other duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned by senior management.Key Accountabilities:Company-wide QMS implementation and complianceISO compliance and certification supportInternal and external auditsQA/QC inspections and testingNCR and corrective action managementConstruction quality complianceMaterial and workmanship qualityQuality documentation and recordsContinuous quality improvementTechnical QA/QC guidanceCoordination with HSE and project teamsClient and consultant quality requirementsAuthorityThe position will have the authority to:Issue NCRs for non-compliance with company QMS and applicable ISO requirements.Require corrective and preventive actions for identified quality issues.Stop or recommend stopping defective work that does not comply with approved contract documents, specifications, or quality standards.Escalate significant quality and compliance issues to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.Master's degree is an advantage.10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the construction industry, including significant experience in a senior leadership position.Strong experience in implementing and managing a company-wide QMS across multiple projects and departments.ISO training is required, with Lead Auditor training in one or more relevant ISO standards preferred.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.Advanced knowledge of construction quality standards, industry best practices, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, audits, inspections, testing, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.Experience managing and developing QA/QC teams across multiple projects.Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
