QAQC Engineer - Electrical

Join us and help deliver the systems behind some of the UAE’s most ambitious developments.Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Quality Control: Perform day-to-day site inspections for electrical containment, cabling, switchgear, DB boards, lighting, ELV systems, and fire alarm networks; review and sign off on Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).Material Approvals & Audits: Inspect incoming electrical materials, equipment, and panels delivered to the site, verifying compliance against approved Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and approved technical submittals.Non-Conformance & Corrective Action: Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) for defective or non-compliant electrical works; track and audit contractor corrective and preventive actions until formal close-out.Testing & Commissioning Audit: Witness and verify megger testing, insulation resistance tests, earth continuity/grounding tests, voltage drop checks, and pre-commissioning of electrical panels prior to final energization and handover.Quality Documentation: Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Assurance logs; maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, as-built drawings, and final authority compliance documentation.Key RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience: 7-10 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within the UAE, with a strong emphasis on high-rise residential or commercial developments.
