QAQC - Infrastructure

Our portfolio spans Dubai’s prime residential, hospitality, and commercial developments, reflecting our commitment to transparency, customer centricity, quality, integrity, and value creation through a construction-driven approach.As a QA/QC Engineer – Infrastructure, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes across infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and associated civil works. You will ensure that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable local authority standards. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in infrastructure construction projects, with sound knowledge of UAE construction standards and relevant authority requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor QA/QC procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with project requirements.Ensure that all infrastructure works, including roads, earthworks, utilities, drainage, sewerage, and associated civil works, comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), method statements, and other quality-related documentation submitted by contractors.Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.Identify non-conformities (NCRs), initiate corrective and preventive actions, and monitor their closure.Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues.Monitor material testing, laboratory testing, and field testing activities to ensure compliance with approved specifications and relevant standards.Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures for road works, asphalt paving, concrete works, road subgrade, sub-base, and base course activities.Monitor the installation and testing of infrastructure utilities, including water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and other underground services.Verify that all construction materials are approved and comply with project specifications and relevant authority requirements.Maintain and review quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems, project quality plans, and client requirements.Liaise with relevant UAE authorities, including RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other utility authorities, as applicable to the project.Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, inspections, and project handover activities.Provide technical guidance to site teams and promote quality awareness and continuous improvement across the project.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 7–10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in infrastructure construction projects.Mandatory experience in roads, utilities, and associated infrastructure works.Previous experience working with a Consultant or Supervision firm is preferred.Strong knowledge of UAE infrastructure standards, QA/QC procedures, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and relevant international construction codes.Familiarity with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other relevant authority regulations and requirements.Experience in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation.Knowledge of construction material testing, laboratory testing, and field inspection procedures.Strong coordination, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.Relevant QA/QC certifications will be an added advantage.
