QC Manager - Manufacturing & Fabrication

We are recruiting a QC Manager for an established engineering and manufacturing business serving the energy sector. The company delivers engineered structures and technical solutions, with operations spanning steel fabrication, welding, piping, electrical, HVAC, architectural fit-out and protective coatings.This is a senior position responsible for leading the quality function across the organisation, ensuring compliance, maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.Oversee quality across fabrication, welding, piping, electrical, HVAC and coating disciplines.Manage inspection plans, welding procedures, NDT, material traceability and final acceptance.Lead audits, non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.Monitor quality KPIs and drive improvements in operational performance.Lead and develop QC engineers and inspectors, working closely with production, engineering and senior management.RequirementsEngineering degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 10 years in quality management.Strong background in heavy fabrication, industrial manufacturing or EPC environments.Extensive knowledge of welding, NDT/NDE, fabrication codes and material standards.Experience with ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, API and quality management systems.Proven leadership experience across multi-disciplinary operations.Lead Auditor certifications in QMS, H&S and Environmental Management Systems.Experience with major EPC contractors or large fabrication companies is highly desirable.Interested candidates are invited to apply with an up-to-date CV.
