Rimtec is committed to being a leader in the vinyl compounding industry by delivering high-quality material solutions and excellent customer service.Role Description The QC/QA Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Burlington, NJ. This role oversees all quality control and quality assurance activities, ensuring products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining quality management systems, reviewing and approving test methods and specifications, and monitoring production processes for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The QC/QA Manager conducts internal and external quality audits, investigates nonconformances, leads root-cause analysis, and implements corrective and preventive actions. The role also collaborates closely with production, engineering, and customer service teams, prepares quality reports and metrics, trains staff on quality procedures, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control, including inspection, testing, and monitoring of production processes.Strong background in Quality Assurance and Quality Management, with experience establishing and maintaining quality systems and documentation.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.Experience in Quality Auditing, including planning, conducting, and reporting internal and supplier audits.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or process-oriented environment, ideally in plastics, PVC compounding, or related industries.Proficiency in data analysis, quality metrics, and root-cause analysis tools (e.g., Pareto charts, fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is beneficial.
