Dussmann Ajlan & Bros is pleased to announce a new career opportunity for the position of QHSE Consultant, based at our Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Role PurposeSupport the implementation and day-to-day monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ISO standards, and organizational procedures.Conduct inspections and audits, support incident investigations, track compliance, and prepare QHSE reports to maintain safe operations, effective contractor control, and continual improvement.Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure QHSE activities align with client expectations, legal obligations, and project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and monitoring of QHSE systems, procedures, and compliance requirements across assigned projects or sites.Conduct routine inspections, joint audits, observations, and compliance checks, and follow up on corrective actions.Assist with incident reporting, preliminary investigations, evidence collection, and corrective and preventive actions.Track NCRs, risk actions, audit findings, legal compliance actions, and safety observations to ensure timely closure.Monitor contractor safety practices, permits, certifications, equipment conditions, and site resources.Support emergency response planning, drills, muster arrangements, and site-readiness checks.Prepare and maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, reports, registers, permits, and compliance evidence.Support toolbox talks, inductions, training sessions, and QHSE awareness campaigns.Monitor the safe handling of hazardous materials and ensure third-party inspections and certifications remain valid.Prepare regular QHSE performance reports, dashboards, and management updates.Technical KnowledgeWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and FM-related compliance requirements.Competence in risk assessments, HSE inspections, permit-to-work systems, contractor compliance, emergency preparedness, and safe systems of work.Familiarity with QHSE metrics, KPIs, NCR/CAPA tracking, incident reporting, legal compliance, and site audits.Knowledge of PMS procedures, toolbox talks, hazardous-material controls, and third-party inspection and certification requirements.Systems and Digital ToolsExperience with QHSE digital platforms, incident-management systems, PTW software, audit tools, compliance trackers, and reporting dashboards.Required Soft SkillsAttention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, leadership and influence, problem-solving, teamwork, time and stress management, training and mentoring, adaptability, and flexibility.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably within FM or construction environments.Minimum 3 years of experience in QHSE consultancy, auditing, or management involving contractor oversight.EducationBachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Risk Management, QHSE Management, or a related field.CertificationsISO Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification.Minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent English proficiency.Job DetailsLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-timeIf you have relevant experience as a QHSE Consultant, we encourage you to apply and join our growing team.
