QHSE Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on, highly disciplined, and experienced QHSE Engineer to oversee Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental operations at our recycling facility in Dubai. The role requires a candidate who can maintain high safety standards on the factory floor, inspect production quality, and ensure full compliance with Dubai regulatory bodies.⚠️ Important Note: Final hiring and employment confirmation are strictly contingent upon passing the Dubai Municipality Exam/Assessment and obtaining their official approval/license.Mandatory Requirements (Must Meet All Criteria):UAE Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven hands-on QHSE experience within the UAE (preferably in recycling, heavy manufacturing, or industrial plants).Residency: Must be currently residing in the UAE with a valid residency/transferable visa.English Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English (Essential) for reporting, ISO documentation, and regulatory liaison.Dubai Municipality Licensing: Must be eligible and willing to undergo and pass the Dubai Municipality competency exam/approval process.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial).NEBOSH IGC certification (Mandatory).Key Responsibilities:On-Floor Safety Supervision: Enforce daily health, safety, and environmental practices for ~40 factory workers and line operators.Quality Assurance & Inspection: Inspect incoming recyclable raw materials and output products to ensure they meet client quality standards.Dubai Municipality Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Dubai Municipality safety, health, environmental, and waste management regulations.Risk Assessment & Incident Management: Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA), hazard identification, and investigate any near-misses or incidents.Toolbox Talks & Training: Conduct daily/weekly safety briefings (Toolbox Talks) for factory workers.ISO Standards: Support the implementation and auditing of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
