With a strong reputation for clinical excellence and regulatory compliance, PTC is expanding its service delivery to support vulnerable populations across both jurisdictions.About This OpportunityWe are recruiting Qualified Counselors and Psychotherapists to provide counseling and psychotherapy services to various organisations and client groups. Those selected will have:The flexibility to accept sessions on a case-by-case basisOpportunity to work with PTC clients across multiple service areasProfessional support and supervision arrangements (your own or through PTC)Access to referrals from multiple sourcesThis is not a traditional employment role—it is a self-employed, independent contractor arrangement offering sessional work at €75 per session.What You'll DoProvide individual counseling and psychotherapy to clients referred through PTCMaintain confidentiality and professional boundariesDeliver evidence-based therapeutic practiceContribute to case formulation and care planning where appropriateMaintain detailed session records and clinical notesEngage in regular supervision (required)Communicate with PTC regarding service delivery and client progressEssential Qualifications & CredentialsTo be eligible for this role, you MUST have ALL of the following:Minimum Qualification: Level 9 (Master's degree) in Counseling, Psychotherapy, or equivalent postgraduate professional training in counselling and psychotherapy (minimum 4-year postgraduate training)Alternative: If trained in related fields (psychology, nursing, social work), minimum FETAC Level 9 or Master's level qualification PLUS specialized training/experience in delivery of psychotherapyProfessional Registration: Current membership with an Irish professional body—IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), ICP (Irish Council for Psychotherapy), FTAI (Family Therapy Association of Ireland), or PSI (Psychological Society of Ireland)Professional Indemnity Insurance: Current, active professional indemnity insurance (minimum €6 million cover)Supervision Arrangement: Either your own clinical supervisor OR we can arrange supervision through our internal supervisors (reasonable fee applies)Garda Vetting Clearance: Current or willingness to obtainChild Protection: Compliance with Childcare Act 2015 and appropriate Child Protection Policies and ProceduresExperience: Demonstrable expertise working with young adults aged 18–25Working ArrangementsLocation Options: PTC premises in Dublin 2 (Nassau St.), OR your own premises (location subject to approval)Supervision: Use your own supervisor, OR arrange with PTC internal supervisor at agreed feeFormat: Self-employed, sessional work on case-by-case basisFee: €75 per sessionMinimum Availability: At least 1 hour available per week for client sessionsTime Off: Unavailability for up to 6 weeks per year is acceptable; availability for the remaining 46 weeks per year is idealImportant: Eligibility RequirementsPlease ensure you meet ALL qualifications and credentials before applying.
