Inspiring Minds Therapeutic Services values professionalism, ethical practice, and a strong commitment to client-centered care.Role Description The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) will provide direct therapeutic support and case coordination to at-risk clients through individual and group interventions, psychoeducation, and crisis management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment and safety plans, documenting services in accordance with regulatory and agency standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary providers, community resources, and family or support systems. The QMHP will monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain timely, accurate clinical records. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Houston, TX, with a mix of on-site client work and some work-from-home tasks such as documentation, telehealth sessions (as applicable), and care coordination. The role involves regular communication with supervisors and colleagues to ensure continuity of care and adherence to best practices.Qualifications Relevant educational background (e.g., bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field) and eligibility to serve as a Qualified Mental Health Professional under Texas guidelines.Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, brief therapeutic interventions, and crisis de-escalation with at-risk populations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, maintain professional boundaries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize caseloads, complete documentation promptly, and meet program and regulatory requirements.Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including providing services in community or office settings and using telehealth or digital tools for remote care and record keeping.Knowledge of trauma-informed care, culturally responsive practice, and community-based resources in the Houston, TX area.Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and continuous professional development; current licensure or certification (if applicable) is preferred.Ability to pass all required background checks and meet any additional state or agency compliance standards.
