Main Purpose of the PositionThe Quality & HSE Officer is responsible for monitoring and implementing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements within the project. The role ensures compliance with company policies, client and contract requirements, applicable regulations, and approved standards while supporting safe, high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Quality ManagementMonitor compliance with quality procedures, contract requirements, and approved standards.Conduct site inspections and monitor Hard and Soft Services quality.Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.Monitor KPIs and SLAs related to quality.Review operational and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.Support internal and client audits.Follow up on client complaints and recommend service improvements.B. Health & SafetyMonitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.Conduct regular safety inspections and identify hazards and unsafe conditions.Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with work permits.Monitor high-risk activities such as electrical work, working at height, and hot work.Ensure availability of firefighting, first-aid, and emergency equipment.Participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.Support emergency and evacuation plans.Conduct safety awareness and Toolbox Talks.C. Environmental & SustainabilityMonitor compliance with environmental requirements.Support energy and water conservation initiatives.Monitor waste management, recycling, and material reduction.Report environmental risks and observations to management.D. Risk & ComplianceSupport preparation and updating of the project Risk Register.Assess operational risks and follow up on preventive measures.Ensure compliance with legal, client, and contractual requirements.Maintain documentation required for inspections and audits.Escalate significant non-compliance to the Project Manager.E. Subcontractor ManagementMonitor subcontractor compliance with quality and HSE requirements.Review required permits, certificates, and safety documents.Conduct inspections and follow up on observations and corrective actions.Escalate or stop unsafe work in accordance with approved procedures.F. Reporting & RecordsPrepare and maintain:Quality and HSE inspection reports.Incident, Near Miss, and NCR reports.CAPA and corrective action records.KPI/SLA and monthly QHSE reports.Risk, training, audit, and inspection records.G. General ResponsibilitiesPromote a strong quality and safety culture across the project.Maintain effective communication with all project teams.Support the Project Manager and Maintenance Manager.Participate in meetings, training, and awareness programs.Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies.Perform other related duties assigned by management
