The Quality & Compliance Coordinator plays a central role in maintaining and improving the standard of care delivered to our service users. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will oversee quality assurance, staff supervision, training and compliance activity across the service, ensuring that care is delivered safely, consistently, and in line with CQC standards, current legislation, and company policies and procedures.Key responsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Compliance•    Checking the quality of care provided through audits, observations, and care-record checks.•    Completing and overseeing ECM, MAR chart, and Care Note audits, ensuring records are accurate and that procedures are followed correctly.•    Ensuring staff follow CQC standards, legislation, and company policies and procedures at all times.•    Servicing of clients' equipment, keeping accurate records of the last service check and booking future service checks.•    Keeping the Business Continuity Plan RAG rating information for service users up to date.Staff Supervision, Training & Recruitment•    Conducting annual appraisals and regular staff supervision.•    Identifying staff training needs and keeping the training matrix updated.•    Supporting the recruitment and induction of new staff.•    Carrying out yearly DBS checks and keeping the DBS matrix updated for all new starters.Incident & Complaint Management•    Recording and managing incidents and complaints, ensuring they are properly documented and escalated to the Registered Manager when necessary.Communication & Administration•    Answering and responding to telephone calls and enquiries from service users, staff, families, and other professionals.•    Taking and recording minutes during online team meetings, ensuring key actions are clearly documented and followed up.•    Participating in on-call duties in accordance with the on-call rota.Tips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.Essential•    NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).•    Previous experience working within domiciliary/home care.•    Previous supervisory or management experience within a care setting.•    Sound working knowledge of CQC standards and relevant health and social care legislation.•    Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.•    A flexible, professional approach, with willingness to participate in an on-call rota.Desirable•    Experience conducting quality audits within a care setting.•    Familiarity with MAR charts, ECM systems, and electronic care documentation.•    Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
