Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager

Alpago Design & Build is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee and maintain the highest quality standards across our luxury design and build projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management processes, conducting inspections, monitoring workmanship and materials, and ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and industry standards.Working closely with the Design, Project Management, Construction and Commercial teams, the QA/QC Manager will play a key role in ensuring Alpago's projects consistently meet the exceptional standards expected within the luxury residential and design & build sector.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies, procedures and systems.Establish project-specific Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality control procedures.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of construction, fit-out and finishing works.Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, materials and project requirements.Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with the required quality standards.Identify quality issues, defects and non-conformances and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues.Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers, Consultants and Contractors to resolve quality-related matters.Review and approve quality documentation, material submittals, method statements and inspection requests where required.Conduct internal quality audits and prepare reports on project quality performance.Maintain accurate records of inspections, quality issues, non-conformance reports and corrective actions.Ensure projects comply with relevant UAE regulations, industry standards and client requirements.Provide quality-related guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors.Identify opportunities to improve quality processes and standards across the business.Support project handovers and ensure all works meet the required quality standards prior to completion.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager within the construction, fit-out or design & build industry.Experience working on high-end residential, luxury villas, hospitality or commercial projects is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of construction, fit-out and finishing processes.Excellent understanding of quality management systems, quality control procedures and inspection processes.Experience developing and implementing Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and material requirements.Experience conducting site inspections, quality audits and managing non-conformance processes.Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of relevant UAE construction regulations and industry standards is preferred.Professional quality management certifications would be advantageous.
