About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer who can own the end-to-end testing process for banking applications across mobile and service layers, from test planning and manual execution through automation development.ResponsibilitiesTest Analysis& Manual QAAnalyze business requirements and clarify acceptance criteriaPrepare test plans, test strategies, and detailed test casesExecute functional, regression, smoke, and UAT test cyclesLog defects in Jira,prioritize them, andmanage the defect lifecycle through to closureMaintain traceable test cases in a test management tool (Zephyr Scale.) and report execution resultsRun tests across multiple devices and OS versions on real-device platforms on cloud device farms.Participate actively in the Agile process (refinement, planning, retrospectives) and work closely with the development teamTest AutomationDevelop and maintain API automation suites.Build service tests with Postman/Newman and migrate collections into the automation frameworkDevelop Android/iOS mobile automation scenarios using Appium.Integrate regression and smoke suitesinto the CI/CD pipelineRequirementsMinimum 4+ years of experience in software testingexecution managementHands-on experience with Jira for defect and task trackingExperience with test management tools (Zephyr Scale,Xray, TestRail, etc.)Experience executing tests on BrowserStack or similar device farm platformsExperience building automation frameworks in JavaHands-on API automation experienceWorking knowledge of Postman for service testing and collection managementProven Appium mobileautomation background.TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, GitSolid understanding of REST/JSON, HTTP, and token-based authenticationExperience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)Basic SQL for data validationExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsGood written and spoken EnglishNice to HaveBanking/fintech domain experienceFramework design using Page Object Model, BDD (Cucumber), or similar approachesAwareness of performance testing(JMeter/Gatling) or security testingISTQB Foundation / Advancedcertification
